Celestial deer – creation and rebirth

The celestial deer symbolizes the continuous cosmic cycle of creation and rebirth. Every day, the sun activates the process of endless evolution and improvements. And the moon recreates the power of consciousness through renewal and search for truth.

History

On one of the felt saddle pads stored in the Hermitage which covered the fighting horses of the Scythians and Sacas, depicted a figure of a deer. The deer is portrayed with raised head and hind legs are bent.

The artist in her drawing depicted the deer surrounded by the Sun and the Moon to show the picture of the cyclic universe in which the whole process of creation and being is based on the dualism of good and evil, life and death, light and darkness.
